Day one was our hike to the ridge of Diamond Head. Our hotel is one of those high-risers at the close end of the beach. And yes, the water is that blue!
Day two was our muddy but thoroughly enjoyable hike to Manawili Falls. Jackie did a little 'cliff jumping.' Kylee did a little watching of the cliff jumping.
Day three was Pearl Harbor, Turtle beach, the Flea Market, Dole Pineapple. Who knew pineapples really grow like this! And at some point, Dad ordered squid and spaghetti in black squid ink sauce. He said it was good, but he really did it just to gross at the rest of us, which he was successful at.
Day 4 was snorkeling at Hunama Bay, then the Polynesian Cultural Center. Fabulous. Day 5 was more of the PCCenter and then the temple grounds.
Wonderful and memorable in every way!
And I don't know how to change the order of the words and pictures on this blasted blog so the photos are in order I want them--so you can just figure out what is what on your own!
